Meridian’s
work in HIV/AIDS/STI programs focuses on disease prevention,
promoting condom use and working with the private sector to
institute work-based educational programs and community
outreach activities. In particular, Meridian's Corporate
Social Responsibility (CSR) activities in workplace health
promotion have increased knowledge and awareness related to
disease prevention and have led to better informed health
choices by employees and their families.
Meridian staff also have extensive global experience
designing and implementing state-of-the-art communications
(behavior change) campaigns, condom social marketing
projects, and community educational outreach rallies/events
conducted at the grass roots level.
Meridian
has also implemented market research initiatives
related to HIV/AIDS to understand and measure the
effectiveness of behavior change campaigns, as well as key
message development and product price elasticity that may
serve as a barrier to condom use. |
